yeah, check out the one I set up for Stacy. We can dink with the colors and a number of other settings if'n we want.

One of the other cool things about that setup is that (supposedly, i've not tested it) you can upload a zip file full of graphics and it will unzip and drop them into a gallery page.

btw, you can use ftp from your IE window (and I'm betting firefox and most other browsers also have the capability by using ftp.domain.com instead of www.
The login is under the file menu in IE, but you'll be prompted for login for any domain that doesn't have anonymous login capability too.

That looks great.

You needn't spend any sweat on the colors for the gallery pages either, since the colors will have zero effect on the display within twg.

Yeah, i use Smart at home too. But when I'm at work and want to throw something up, like my new avatar, I just plug in the address to IE. It's not fun to use for real work, but if it's just one file/folder, it's easy.

I can see it but I can't edit it.

Sprig: did you get the intro edit I emailed you for the Nerdery stuff I submitted?  I emailed it to your TWG address.

Kije, he told me he'd gotten it and it will be edited into the article by tuesday. We'll probably use it as the next Nerdery article.

Forgive me.  You are the final word on the front page but I must disagree.  I like the text not sitting on top of the pics but I liked the pics much better when they were full size.

Now it's hard to even read the titles on them.  White space bedurned.

So is Mister P gone indefinitely?

I don't think reading the titles on the pics is necessary, seeing as that title shows up in the blurb and/or the blurb title. It's much more satisfactory to have text/graphics that balance.

Mr. P said that he's burned out. Today I started toying with just having TWG in general take over the Nerdery, so whoever wants to write that style and speak to that sort of concern can take up the reigns. That's sort of what's going on anyway.

I wasn't saying that reading the titles was necessary.  I was using the titles as an example of why the pics are ugly.

I think they look terrible so small.  I am of the opinion that the page as a whole looks better if the pics aren't cramped, balance aside.

As I said, you're the man in charge of the front page, you do it how you want.  I just wanted my opinion to be clear.

'Nuff said.  I won't say anything else about it unless you ask.

I'll be getting an N-Gage sometime in April, so I'll have that Nerdery then.

The N-Gage isn't really a Nerdery topic. We'd like some kind of article about it, though.
