While bored in my house I begin to play my ds and while looking for a good game to play I cmae across my pokemon stuff....good days. If you were into pokemon a couple of years ago you missed a big part of your life. :P So now I would like for all of us to go back into those good years and talk about what we thought of pokemon.

bulba bulba bulbasaur

I never played it, but I was amused by the inane cartoons on saturday mornings. My wife and I would watch together. The best scene ever, possibly in any cartoon, was when Bulbasaur and Pikachu are having a conversation.

Pika pi pi chu! Pikachu chu pika!
Bulba bulba, saur! Bulbasaur! Saur saur!

it went on for some 30 seconds. very cool.

I used to watch Pokemon, before it was "cool." Then when everybody got into it it wasn't fun anymore.

I'm flattered that you remember that.

I like the sound better. Is that so wrong?

Watched the first season or so. Didn't have the patience for the game. Trying to remember/find out which one fought better against other types...pfoo.

I was SO into Pokemon, it hit me when I was around 12-14. It was an awesome game and an awesome world though. I still think it'd make an excellent PnP game, but good luck finding people interested who aren't either 12 years old or going to laugh at you.

lol. My whole point was to find people who were into it..very few still are. For example you can get like 100 cards for 5 dollars on ebay...even less in stores.

There is just something wrong about kids training their pets to beat up other kids pets.

The card game died off once Wizards stopped makeing it, and they stopped becaue it wasn't selling well enough to justify the lincence.
