So is this book hardcover or softcover? More importantly, is this book presented as an esssential D20 future resource or just a nifty expansion?

Also is it likely to be released on the SRD on the WotC site?

42, most of the new material for d20 modern has been in softcover books. I like the way they're printing these since they're cheaper and have the specific content you're looking for described to you in the title.

I wouldn't consider the book essential, just useful. You can run a d20 Future campaign without it, but you'll have more equipment options with it.

I didn't say essential, did I word-maker? I doubt I even insinuated it. You may have read that out of it, you double-talker you. I did mean however that the content inside the book is useful to the type of campaign you'll be running due to the title presented to you on the front cover. Doofus.

Thank you Fell for answering my question. And thank you Gemm for questioning the motives of Fell's answer. You both are appreciated.

I myself liked this book, it rounded out a lot of the options from the first future book. Plus it has Voltron. Thats enough reason to buy it I think.
