I really just kind of skimmed this thread so forgive me if someone has said this already. This topic has been discussed at some length before. I always saw a mistcloak as being more like a ghillie suit that a soldier would wear. I mean they serve the same purpose right? So I looked at it more as having many small tassels instead of many long tassels. I think if you searched for instructions on how to make a ghillie suit then it would give you some good ideas. I have made a ghillie suit in the past and it worked quite well.

I like where your going. I agree that the growth of the main characters had a lot to do with my love of FE.

 I will have to respectfully disagree with your magic system statement. I was refreshed with systems of magic that had rules and limitations. Although I love WoT and many other series with all encompassing magic systems, they seem to lack any kind of logical base. In reality, the longer one works with a magic or the more naturally talented one is means they can do practically anything. I'm not the biggest fan of magic that has no end. Wot and the One Power, Sword of Truth and "Additive and Subtractive" even the Belgariad with the "Will and the Word". Of course there are many more examples those are just a few of the more well known ones. Although it seems strange that rules can be refreshing, in this case I find it to be true.

Just gonna list a couple off here and be aware that most of these are gamer names.

Paranoia- I thought I was cool and that I was so good that I caused Paranoia in others who played against me. Unfortunately it proved to be untrue.

For the last few years I have used GreenMonsta for everything. Sometimes with numbers sometimes without. Seems easy and lets some people know where I'm from with out asking (only if they are baseball fans). I like to support the team and everything (in this case the Red Sox). Its kind of a Boston pride thing. May seem stupid but its good enough for me.

Forget my last post about there being good politicians. I'm going with Silk on this one.

Andrew whats the deal guy? There is certainly no need for you to give reasons why Chaos would or could "destroy" me. I mean I am out of practice and everything but at least leave me some hope. I'm fairly sure that I backed you during a certain election some time ago and even though you lost I was a pretty strong supporter of yours, thanks for backing me up.

About post counts, Andrew you missed the days where we would post around a hundred posts a day on this thread. Those days really helped everyone with their levels. I remember spending days at work writing about snowsports and pine trees, the coalition, gathering doom and battling Chaos. Crazy times.

I can also understand your current "depressed" state. I would be depressed too if I was only a level 15. Sorry buddy.

So look at it this way. TLR created inquisitors as his tool right? He used them as his Gestapo in controlling the Final Empire. Also he never completed them. He held back additional spikes and powers from them to keep them within his control. Just like all the creatures he created, there was a fail safe. I'm assuming that TLR held back the additional spikes because he was wary of Ruin's influence. He was obviously aware that Ruin could still do some things even though he was imprisoned (hence the caches and the notes in steel). By only allowing the inquisitors to have only so much power he made it possible for himself to intercede should Ruin ever gain enough influence to take control of an inquisitor. Pull the lynchpin and the Inq. is done for. You can see the changes in the Inq.s between books two and three. In WoA the Inq.s all had the same pins and the same abilities (undercontrol of TLR). In HoA the Inq.s began to get additional pins making them stronger and more powerful, they also added protective plates to protect weaknesses (under control of Ruin).

As to Vin's earring. I think that her mother used it on Vin's sister during the murder. I'm not sure if it was the murder weapon. That would take talent.

Well well well. Look at you Shag. I guess I have missed a bunch. Now that your famous and practiced at your art, maybe its time we have a little test of skills?? I don't know, say. . . .  cross blades at dawn perhaps? No but really, I have missed a good amount. I have like two weeks worth of reading just to catch up.

I know I'm late but I'm gonna jump on the whole snow rain thing anyway.

My "Opinion" is that over all snow is much worse than rain. Here is why I think so.

Now although snow is pretty right when you wake up and look outside and its pristine, that gets "nullified" the second I have to start doing manual labor just to go to work and do more labor.

Snow more often than not comes with our friend ice. Ice is not very nice because it creates danger everywhere. For people walking, for cars driving, for flat roofed homes, for road conditions, for water pipes. Ice just stinks.

Now although the argument that rain floods cities and causes deaths is valid to a degree. Snow is no friendlier. I mean, snow is cold. That pneumonia thing you mentioned kills people all the time, mainly the old and very young. Not very nice. Also the poor and homeless die from the snow every year.

Snow also creates conditions where flooding is worse. Have you ever seen a snow storm turn to rain? The snow on the ground doesn't melt right away. All it does is block all the drains causing roads to flood and become dangerous.

I will also be cursing the rain when the summer is here. I mean we all like it on a warm sunny day (or most normal people do) but I would much rather rain than snow anytime. Snow is cool for the first five minuets. After that Its nothing but a headache. I have also been a mechanic and I have experienced snow dripping on you all day. Have fun wearing a jacket while working on a car. You can but sometimes you cant and even if you can your constantly touching cold metal that just makes you cold. Second even if your shop is heated you have to open the bay doors sometime, and when you do it cold.

So I'm sorry to say here Shag but this is one of those things you will probably change your mind on when your old enough to drive and your out of school.
