On that "goober-clicking" note, it becomes incredibly fun on a touchscreen. We installed the original Diablo on our computers at the restaurant where I work, which are touchscreen, and it was awesome. Only problem is that you can only have it be left or right click....  still, wildly poking at the screen is really really fun.

oooh. hey, that's a good idea too. Those fake languages are tricky. . . especially if you've never learned another language, so you only have one language to use as a model for how to make a language (And its a rather convoluted language, too)

I would really love have a go at this NaNoWriMo, and I've got a cool idea for a story (Its an epic fantasy with an unusual twist on the 'prophesied hero' concept), but I'm afraid that, at the rate I write, I'd have to drop out of college and quit my job if I wanted to get it done. . . bummer. . .

Oooh, I agree! I could really use a bit of insight on how to make action scenes actually feel like action.

Okay, now I gotcha.... That makes more sense. . . sorta. Okay, it's still really confusing, but I understand what you mean, now. Cool beans, I'll get going on that one...

Really? How so? Seemed like just another card game to me.

Does anybody know if there has ever been an RPG that used cards in the CCG fashion? I think it would be cool.

You've got a point, goober clicking can be really fun, sometimes. And seeing hordes of little demons get slaughtered... that's fun!

And, uh, I've never tried this, but I imagine that a mystical adventure through Narnia would get you some ideas, too. :)

Really, just randomly writing seems to do well, too. I've found that it doesn't seem to be that important what it is. Sometimes I'll write about an idea I've got, but other times I just write down my random trains of thought. I've also found that writing down a conversation with myself about what I should do with my writing, it works. I dunno... just put a pen on paper... or uh, a finger on a keyboard?... and you're good.

I've got no experience with the new one, but I played the first Spellforce.
It had a really cool concept, and some really cool mechanics. My only complaint was the speed. It was so slow paced. Moving an army across the map took 10 minutes, it seemed. Other than that, it was cool.

I'd just like to boast that, after hearing about D3, I got together with seven other D2 fans and played through the game on normal in one day (with no maphack or twinks, and stuff). It was probably the coolest 11 hours o f my life. I'm even writing a paper about it in my English 1010 class.

Wow, having just read the third chapter of HoA, I think I'd rather just bring that whole chapter and say, "So, uh, this really doesn't fit the assignment, but, dang, you've gotta read this!"
