That was what I thought at first. I got worried after I verified that the phone number they left for me was legit. But it appears to have just been a mix-up anyway, so...

So the past two years, I've gone home the first weekend in October, and both times it snowed in Rexburg, but not in Twin (where I'm from). So I have missed the snow. This was my goal this year, but, alas, my goal failed.

Not only did it snow just about all day Sunday in Twin, when I got back to Rexburg last night--where it hadn't snowed at all over the weekend--it started snowing a bit later. And it hasn't really stopped. Now, granted there isn't really a whole lot of snow on the ground because it isn't sticking, but still. I think the snow is following me, and I don't appreciate it. I would much rather be followed by nice, sunny weather.

And how does that make you feel?

Grumpy, apparently.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Ahah. Peter took the words out of my mouth.

Speaking of grumpy: I want this cold to go away now. It's been a week and a half; I want my singing voice back.

My ability to breathe unhindered would also be nice. But that's, you know, secondary.

But singing is not. I'm with Silk, I would love to be able to sing again (I also have an ugly cold).

I would love to be able to sing... period...

I can do the rock band thing, but I don't think it really counts.

A moderately intelligent friend of mine has a penchant for entirely ignoring fact and reason when it comes to political discussion.  Gets tiring.

Those people are only fun when there's like 30 other people who are moderately intelligent listening. Then you can all gang up and make the one person who ignores fact look like a total idiot.

But yeah, in smaller discussions, that gets really tiring really really fast. When people won't listen to you no matter what you tell them.... I sympathize.

Yes, Kaz. It makes me feel grumpy to be followed by snow. In October.

Anyway. I went country dancing tonight. It was fun. Until I fell down a few stairs and ended up bruising my tailbone. Pain is not my friend. In fact, I hate it.

The worst part is that I have a required field trip for one of my classes down to central Utah, and we're leaving tomorrow morning. 4 hours in a van will not help my tailbone feel any better....And we'll be sleeping in tents. For 2 nights. Normally I would be happy about this. I love camping. But not with a bruised tailbone. Ugh.

Ugh. That sucks, Wilson.

Grumpy: Got a letter from the above-mentioned credit card company yesterday, only this time it was telling me I had ten days (from when the letter was sent on September 30th--I got this letter yestreday!) to pay them nearly $300 or face legal action.

I still don't have a credit card with that company. ::)

(Turns out it was just a filing error--they have someone whose name is very close to mine and I was getting all their letters and phone calls. Still not nice. And I still had to get up early to deal with it.)

Also on the grumpy front, I cannot believe how exhausted I am right now. Apparently constantly coughing and hacking up bits of lung takes it out of a person...
