Spidey... unmasked?
« on: June 15, 2006, 12:30:17 PM »
I've been putting off commenting on it because I've been unable to confirm it. But I just got an email from Marvel guaranteeing me that this is correct.

In support of the Superhero Registration Act, at a press conference Peter Parker tells the world who he really is in Civil War #2.

What will it mean for his JOB?

So, thoughts on this. Publicity stunt by Marvel? Well, DUH. But will it make for some interesting storyline? I mean, this changes a *lot* for the Spidey-verse. What's Cap gonna thing?

I found this to be interesting.

I guess I need to get ahold of the issue. I'm not sure I completely grasp the ramifications of where this will take things.

yeah, that's my problem with all Marvel storylines. They always change everything.

but then it all reverts back within a year.

Actually, DC isn't much better. At least with what I've researched.

Anyways it has me curious where Marvel will take this.  Course I just wiki-ed this and it says that the series has already shown two versions of Spidey.

The continuity rewrite from Crisis on IE has stuck for over 2 decades.

It all makes so much sense now.

Both have the same lifestyle, similar powers, and make the same jokes. I's so obvious. :P

That icv2 article was really good. I've often wondered why Spidey didn't continue to grow.

Since I don't think it needs it's own topic I'm going to post this here, marvel's Editor in Cheid has his own blog now.
