Well...some people did actually like the book. Didn't fuzzy or MoD or both like it or something like that?

Up to the part I read, the only thing I liked was the sitting-around-telling-stories parts, but that does not a good novel make, in my opinion. (Well, floating rocks and ships were pretty cool, too.)

All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

EUOL has a point--the world was pretty interesting. She just didn't do anything interesting with it.

It's just a product listing with the basic plot outline. No review.

My friend and former B&N coworker, Alana, recently reviewed Elantris. I don't know what she meant by EUOL's web presence--I just told her about TWG one day at work--but it's a favorable review.

you have to scroll down to the June 14 entry because I don't know how to link just part of a page. It's near the bottom of the page.

The web presence probably deals with the infamous "Tolkien debacle".

Though I've also read that people say Tor itself is compareing brandon to Tolkien, though I think it's just rumors started by that EUOLogy.

My personal internet rumor about Elantris and EUOL is that the only reason he got published is because of some Mormon cabal involving Scott Card.  Ya, you can't make this stuff up if you tried.

Also there's an interview with EUOL over at Reigheena's site, why this wasn't posted earlier I'll never know.

Just curious, Sprig--where did you read the internet rumors? I'm interested in seeing what crazy things people come up with playing telephone on the internet.
