Small world...

I just found out that one of our artists was in those Korean classes with Nathan Jennings and me! o.o I've been copyediting her stuff for months and had no idea she was the same person.
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Yay! It's fun to run in to old friends.

It can also be kind of scary though.  I ran into an old friend the other day and she had turned Goth.  It was rather odd, though I suppose not so unexpected.

I wish one of my friends would go goth. Maybe I'm the friend who's supposed to go goth, and everyone's waiting for me?

Well, there is an easy way to check. Are you so desperate to find acceptance that you would radically alter your appearance, your opinions, and your musical tastes in order to qualify you to belong to a built-in social circle? Do you want to be instantly hated by me? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then you are probably meant to be a Goth.

And if not, it sounds as if he'll love you forever.

Wow, I think you may have read between the lines just a touch too much.

I'd use the word "superior" instead of "normal," but otherwise, yeah, that's about right.

Haha.  Sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound weird.
