This will be my first Thanksgiving in two years, as I was in Scotland last year. I forgot about that. And I think I was in Campbeltown, eating a meat pie. Not exactly turkey and stuffing and pumpkin pie. Now this year I have TWO pumpkin pies sitting in the fridge, just waiting to be devoured. 8) Yummmm.

Due to a deep hatred for tradition (brought about by getting married and suddenly having twice the traditions I had before), we had prime rib for thanksgiving. And boy was it beefalicious.

Well even though it's belated, I'll throw a Happy Thanksgiving in here too. And unlike Mustard, we had a very traditional meal, and I quite enjoyed it. Now, of course, my family is out looking for a Christmas tree, so I thought I'd check in at TWG.
Good to see that nothing interesting is happening, as usual.

lol. So, Tage, how did your parents react to the discovery that your sister was in Provo rather than Japan?

What the hamma jamma?

Krista...does she have a Nick here? I can't remember. Anyway, she went to Japan to teach English. Well, the program had money troubles, so she came home early--only, no one told her parents. They decided to spring it on them as a surprise at Thanksgiving. She wasn't supposed to be home until December.

And did she remember your katana?
Our Thanksgiving dinner was delicious! It makes me smile just thinking of how good it was. Happily, we have some of the leftovers!

My parents were appropriately surprised. And more importantly, yes, she brought my katanas, which I was able to see, and I am MOST pleased.
