Or maybe it is time to lock the grumpy thread and let this one be the new grumpy thread.

I thought about that, but I don't think the grumpy thread is long enough to warrant it.  What would be nice is if this forum had a way to move posts from one thread to another that way we could just move the conversation where it belongs.
