nature camp
« on: August 17, 2004, 08:49:51 PM »
Well just finished my second day JC-ing for nature camp, the others marveled at my ability to keep children under control and my jesus-like patience in taking seven children one after the other back and forth across the street to a hotel to use the bathroom even after I asked if anybody else had to go each time, then instead of getting angry i smiled and said come on. cloe and daneille looked like they were about to faint...

Wow!  Way to go!  I'm a teacher of young'uns and even my patience would be stretched with something like that!

well what can I say I like kids and I sympathize with em, I'm think about this...you're five maybe six, your only authority figures/babysitters are tennagers(who believe anyone younger than they to be stupid annoying and whinny)...when you think about it like that, someons got to be nice to these kids. besides teenagers bug me, anyone under twelve is way more fun to hang out with, ussually more mature too..

Did they marvel at your Jesus-like humility as well?
