a) New York is not particularly near DC
b) New York is populated entirely my yankees. They deserve it.
c) New York sucks for so many other reasons, but that still doesn't make it relevant to my gas tank.

You remind me of my brother in law who is now in England. He is a die hard Cubs fan, being from Chicago like he is.

My favorite part is reminding him, that statistically speaking, it is more likely that Germany will start another world war before the Cubs win another World Series.

It's all about the Wrigley Field experience.

Besides, I experienced a World Series first hand in Boston two years ago, and all I saw was lots of really bad traffic.

seems to me the last 2 world series proved just how much of a winner the yankees are.

all assumptions are of course out the door now that the White Sox and the Red Socks have both won world series.
