Well, now I have an excuse to check these out. It's one of those "someday I'll get to it" things. I've always loved The Shadow, Phantom, etc but only recently started actually reading about them.

I believe it's worth it, and Del Rey is certainly making it easy for a change. Go out and buy.

You used to be able to find The Shadow online. Actual scans of the original stuff in pdf. But the company that owns them spat out C&D and they've vanished  :-[ Hopefully, they're planning on releasing them again.

I just got Solomon Kane.  I've only read 2 of them so far, but its pretty good.  The Right Hand Of Doom wasn't even too much of a Kane story, it was more just a short scary story.
