Anybody a Wiki Expert?

Anybody here every set up a wiki?  Or used one?

I helped create the Elantris one. I know the basics and I read wikipedia obsessively.

Is the Elantris wiki a public one?  Or just something tha Brandon used with a few people?

It's a couple of pages on wikipedia, that myself, SE and Ookla The Mok whipped up. All the good bits are by me, etc. Brandon refused to get involved, thinking it to be unsightly for the subject of a wiki to get involved in it.

I'm currently coding my own Wiki, probably won't be much better then the one on SE's site but I don't need an overly complex one for what I'm going to be doing.

well, the one I have actually isn't THAT bad. It lacks some functions like adding extra pages easily and that sort of thing. Just some bugs.

So are you hard coding your own wiki?  I've heard that flex wiki (or something like that) is free, and easy to set up.

I wonder if there is some free wiki out there that you can just go and play in.  I wanted a place where I could try something.
