Love Hina and a few other animes
« on: May 22, 2003, 10:50:22 PM »
Hey Spriggan, since your Mr. Anime article'er I thought I might as well ask you (or anyone else who has $.02 worth). Ever see such animes as: Love Hina or Hand Maid May?

I enjoyed both of these animes. My friend got the mangas for Love Hina and I'm reading those now. You should check them out if your a bit sore at all the craptacular anime thats out there too.

I don't particualry enjoy anime aimed at 12 year old girls.  I know Love Hina is popular and suppodly isn't that bad, but it's not my thing.  I prefer real women closer to my age  ;D
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

I didn't know you knew any real women close to your age.

Ah, but the point of my post--dear Gemm--was to note a similarity.  If Piro thinks Love Hina is one of the best mangas of all time, then anyone remotely familiar with Megatokyo will understand what kind of comic it is.

Really, how interesting. So I could point out something like that too then in the future eh? Well I'll keep that on reference.

I have watched about 10 episodes of LH.

I will be honest with you: they freaked me out. Badly.

I liked Love Hina, never saw HMM. Love Hina isn't as Shoj as it first appears, though it still is, at its core Shoj.
I don't know, I just really identify with the guy (can't remember his name)

It's Keitaro. C-Man, I have to agree with you, I as well identify well with the guy.

Entrophy, only 10? There's about 26 episodes though, plus two specials (Christmas and Spring). HMM is pretty funny/Shoj as well. Only about 11 episodes there though, so Entrophy should be able to get through that one.

I might today. My dad felt the need to buy a 42 inch plasma. Then i found out that you can plug PCs in and use it as a monitor. So now my anime freak friends are coming over with their downloaded anime and a sizable supply of alchol. Should be fun.

Man, thats sorta sad, in a pathetic sort of way that you need that substance to make something thats already good, better. But if its bad, then by all means, you must.
