cowboy bebop movie

Instead of a planned november DVD realease the movie's being realeased by Coloumbia/Tri-Star in theaters in early 2003.

What's wrong with anime? I happen to like th Bebop anime series, and I hope the movie is as good.

It's supposed to be realy cool, Fuzzy has a fansub.  You can also buy the Hong kong import that's multi-reagon.  Japanese language only but it does have english subtitles.  And only $13 to boot.  The only thing I'm worried about is weither or not the orignaly English voice cast does it.  I'm assuming that Bandai is in cahoots with Coulmbia/Tri-star, sence Badai doesn't like to sell the rights to the stuff that they own.

I really doubt there would be a theater release. Anime sort of has a habit of bombing when released in US theaters.

It was realeased in the theaters in January.  Had a 20 theater release.  Closest to Utah was califonia (half the screens were in CA,WA and OR).

CA, OR, and WA makes sense because there's a high concentration of ethic Japanese and Japanese-philes.
