It shouldn't be bad as long as they have some fresh blood.  Marc Singer and Michael Ironside are a bit long in the tooth to be playing the action heroes.

Also, a guinea pig gets eaten on screen.

And a weird child suddenly has magic powers over technology when no similar powers have existed anywhere previously.

According to my parents, who also went to Peru, its kinda similar to Chicken, but its a pain to eat since you have to fiddle around with the meat.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

The problem with a 'V' sequel is that the surprise is spolied.  As I recal, the original was all about 'What is the true secret of these creatures' once the main characters discovered it, they revealed it to everyone.  That mystery/conflict was the driving force behind the series.

I must have watched a different "V" than you then.

The "secret" as I recall, was revealed about halfway through the series. It was thereafter mostly an action series.

And disposing fo the secret, even if I remember wrong, didn't stop them from doing a very successful follow up mini-series as well as a tv series.

As far as I'm concerned, this has as good a chance of being good as flopping.
