When I joined the boards last April or so, the Nightcrew revived a little bit because several of us were insomniacs and would post on this thread if we just wanted to talk to each other while the rest of the world slumbered peacefully.

According to MsFish, at that point I had already missed the heyday of the Nightcrew--when people would post conversations (like several pages worth) through the night. It was used as a mass instant messaging system rather than a forum--the one thread where this occured. (If I understand correctly.)

Lately, either everyone has been sleeping or no one has been really posting.

I blame the dying of the nightcrew partly on the disappearance of Eagle and Morgan--without them it didn't make sense for Jeffe and I to talk on the forum.  Nightcrew wasn't much fun with only two people.

Yeah, well, we should actually revive Superfly one of these nights.  As it is, the only time it gets used is when Jeffe wants to prove to me that it still exists.
