TWG has been scooped.
Front page of EnWorld (the biggest d20 site out there) has a link to here and to my Eberron Adventure Roundup under their reviews section.
So that's pretty cool.
-
nicey. We can always use the hits.
-
Sweet Mr. P, I'm sure you had something to do with this too ;)
-
The latest Nerdery article got linked on the EN World front page! ;D
I'm on a roll.
A jelly roll.

with butter?

Stone me just like Jelly Roll.

I've always wondered if that was really what he was saying in that song. Is it?
-
yup. I cannot account for the strange lyrics that appear in the folk/blues/jazz/rock/psychedelic stylings of he who is Van Morrison. But he's amazing to listen to. I think by far his coolest line ever is "Playing dominoes in drag." No idea why, but it's a trip.

Well at least now I know what's been slowing down the server. I thought it was just the Yahoo bot, but apparently there's some real traffic thrown in there too.
-
We;ve also been getting lots of hits over the past week from scifi.com's forums.
-
I have a question.
From the above statement, I imagine you all can tell where your hits come from. Is it possible to tell me where most of th e hits for The Nerdery link from? I know a big portion must be from EnWorld, but I'm curious about the rest.
-
I'll check, but I don't know if it gets that specific.
/edit/
I can't find any way to see where people come from on a certain page, only on the site as a whole. I was able to see that 6% of our readers from the past week came from enworld, and viewed an average of 3.1 pages each while they were here.
-
Forgot about my question...
Thanks for the info, Fell.
Now, a more general question...about how many page views does The Nerdery get in an average week.
My ego is curious. Though my ego would be satisfied if only one person did since I'm not a writer and all. :)

The one on old school only got 159 hits to date.
The two following have almost 500 though. And the one on Indy games has over 650. Not too bad.

that's only uniqe ISPs, so it dosen't count if the same person checks it twice while their cookie is still active. It also dosen't incluse any admin or moderator pageviews.
