My Mom showed me this, apprently someone on e-bay is selling Elantris as a "romance" novel.  Now I know what you're thinking, and you're right, EUOL hasn't been straight forward with us and wants us all to buy some crappy romance novel he wrote.

well, there IS romance in the plot. But I hardly think that's the main genre.

That's because you read a decoy book--the real Elantris that actually got published is an all-out bodice ripper. Even that "cover" he keeps showing is a fake--the real Elantris has a musky, blonde-maned pirate clutching a swooning maiden to his powerful (and bare) chest. EUOL, it should be mentioned, posed for the portrait.
