300 bucks in a month?!  You /are/ sick, how can you even find that many books to buy?  I probably spend that much in a year.  I can see why you'd never have time to use that much stuff.  I think I put my books to pretty good use, and even I haven't used all the ones I have.

50 bucks a month isn't too bad for a hobby, assuming you have the extra 50 bucks.  Hey, I read a ton of rpg books... although I think they are a pretty boring read.

I remember you like White Wolf, what other systems do you like?

Wow, you have like complete opposite taste than me.  DnD is my favorite, d20 modern is okay but I don't care too much for the changes between it and dnd.  I haven't played GURPS for like 10 years, never played Shadowrun or Hero (read through the rules and such though).  I like World of Darkness, but not so much the storyteller system... haven't checked out the newest rules though, they might have patched them up better.  But I do like the world and flavor, and some of the sub-rule systems like the shadow player in Wraith.

So do you have any since the reboot?  I'll have to go to their website and check out the new Werewolf, see what its like now.

I'm currently running a very successful Vampire: The Requiem game.  It's great fun.  New WoD is so much better than Old WoD in both system and setting.

I've read a bit about nMage and it drives me to sleep. Having one core creation myth is so boring -_-
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

From what I hear, in the new version of Mage (nMage for short, in comparison to oMage) all magic is said to come from Atlantis. There is apparently some dicking about removing traditions in order to add what are essentially classes and so on, but i've never read it. The little i've heard of it gives me no desire to bother rectifying that.

I loved old Mage.

New Mage does absolutely nothing for me.  Not at all.

It does have a hypnotic cover though.

In new mage, the legend of atlantis is certainly bought into by a lot of power groups, but it isnt ubiquitous. The power system is better than old mage and its certainly easy to keep the old traditions. All in all I like the new mage though, because the old mage made it too difficult for the traditions to hold their own much less win.
