I don't have to take spelling-related abuse from a guy who uses the word "feh." As a sentence. Without capitalizing it.

That's the proper way to use "feh" in a sentence. I'm surprised you don't know that. I thought you studied English and wrote for a living.

Anyway, you may not have to take it, but you will anyway. Good ol' Joe's got your number.

Oh look, the comp lit guy suddenly thinks he's an expert on something non-useless. You just keep yourself to yourself, frenchie, and we won't have any trouble.

alright, now the kid gloves come off. The ninja monkeys are on the way.

So, you're saying that a degree where you only study ONE language (one that everyone already speaks and makes erroneous claims about its historical achievement) is more useful than a degree where you become completely literate in multiple languages? Pot. Kettle. Black. (Note: those were all used as sentences. But they were capitalized.)

Yeah, but at least I know jack. Which would be more than I can say for English majors.

Oh, and before anyone else jumps in, we both studied language and literature. We're fully aware of the inherant irony of English and Comparative Literature majors mocking the usefulness of each other's chosen degrees. That's why we're doing it. Duh. (also a sentence, capitalized. 'Duh' is to always be capitalized -- 'feh' never.)

feh. You are all unamerican. I'm reporting you to Joe McCarthy for your anti-patriotic way of spelling.

You're both capitalist running-dog prescriptivists, you know.

Speaking of gloves being off, did somebody just call me a prescriptivist? Because it's on now.

That was, of course, done intentionally for irony's sake.

And now, I am going to drink a nice warm cup of Irony's sake.
