Especially since the movie is 3 hrs 45 minutes. I think all the others stayed closer to the 3 hr mark in the theater release, didn't they?

I was sorely tempted to go to the midnight showing tonight, but I have 3 papers due tomorrow (3 papers, 3 pgs each, all for the same class) and have to defend these papers in class tomorrow, so I figured it might not be the best time to stay up all night--or if I did stay up all night, I'd better be working on those papers. Sooo tiiiirrrrreddd.... But either tomorrow night or Thursday night for me, if there are still tickets to be gotten. I haven't been able to think beyond this semester yet.

Eric: thanks for the compliment.  I think part of it is that we're not sure how we're going to pay rent in January and so add finals to that and movies are not exactly the first thing on my mind these days.

If we wait til Christmas break, our parents will buy us tickets.

I think you mean Dan. Just goes to show that those icons really are confusing.

I know what you mean.
Less than 11 hours now... I just need to make it through this shift, then stops at Subway and the comic shop to spend birthday money.

I had a dream last afternoon (remeber I work nights) about seeing the movie.  All I can tell you is it's a hack job.  I mean when you find out that Sarun is realy Aragon's father and Eowin is his sister that's just not right.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

I'm pretty sure she's doing it on purpose.

Yes, it's a vast right-wing conspiracy. Wait, I'm not right-wing

It's a vast politically unaffiliated conspiracy. I'll post something, then, when someone is about to reply to it, we'll delete mine and Fell will post. It's been delightful fun, but now that you've caught on, we'll have to stop.

Actually I didn't do it on purpose.  It's just that Eric posts about twice as much as Dan, so I have just come to associate their icon with Eric.

Look, I'll stop harassing you about the icons when all you rabid fans stop harassing me about not seeing the movie on opening week.  I don't deserve to be persecuted for this.

MMmmmm, it was so good. Like eating a really good piece of snow caught on your tongue. Someone make with the spoiling thread so we can talk about its greatness.
