Title: Learning to speak and writing a learning guide to Na'Vi
Post by: Miyabi on December 23, 2009, 12:57:35 AM: So yeah, I've decided I am overly nerd-tastic and I really want to learn to speak Na'Vi. For now I just have what is on the internet, I can't wait for the DVD to come out so that I can listen to it repetitively.

Did you know Na'Vi uses in-fixes to conjugate verbs? It's quite interesting.

Anyone else interested in learning?

Also, do you know of any human language what uses in-fixes as apposed to suffixes or prefixes?

Post by: The Jade Knight on January 08, 2010, 07:58:18 AM: In theory, Swahili uses infixes, though this really depends on your definition of infixes. Additionally, many languages, Old English and Welsh included, use vowel changes to decline nouns. This is somewhat similar to infixes.
