Yeah, but you always need at least 6 people, since people idle a lot.

And i don't think enough people on the boards would use IRC to make it worthwhile - you would have 1 or 2 people at most.

IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat.

I believe SEs website features some examples of it.

Essentially, its a bunch of programs (mIRC, jIRC etc) that all show chatrooms that run off servers. It is text only. Actually, i'll post a small example below...

Both #timewastersguide and #twg seem to be unused, and I'd just campe, but until I'm on broadband, it's kind of pointless.
