The great cheese heresy continued for may years and a multituted of bystanders were slain and devoured. Finally after years of Death, Destruction and toil only the Timewasters remained. Faced with the choice between life or death they prepared to cross blades in an epic battle of untold power,... untill they realized they were out of cheez products. After that there wasn't much point and they went home.

incidentally, my friend has a nifty little web interface that doesn't require downloads for IRC. why don't we have something like that?

Huh? I didn't realise msg boards also had "/ me" commands activated.

And the problem with a IRC channel is that i don't think there are enough people to make it worth while... the star wars clan i am in has 200 - 300 members, but only 40 of them go on IRC.

The chanels I frequent don't have millions of people. i like smaller crowds. Easier to have a meaningful discussion. I never understood why people wanted dozens upon dozens of people. #mormon always sucked partially for that reason. The others I go to only have a dozen at their busiest times.
