where Demondred has been hiding, etc.

**SPOILERS**

Demandred is Mazrim Taim.

**UNSPOILERS**

Taim is not Demandred in disguise.

How do we know? Because RJ said so.

Q: "It's been said that you mentioned that Mazrim Taim is not Demandred. There seems to be some confusion on whether or not you said that."
A: "Mazrim Taim is not Demandred."

[Matthew Julius, post-COT signing, Dayton, OH, January 16, 2003]

--Stolen from a WoT FAQ.

As well as other evidence against it.
--Demandred's failure to recognize Flinn at the Cleansing
--the double set of orders to the renegade Asha'man
etc.

I am much more interested in learning about Verin and Cadsuane's true nature ( I have my theories of course), when Moridin and Cyndane will reveal themselves, where Demondred has been hiding, etc.

Personally, I think Verin is either Black Ajah, or some other side we don't know about yet. (I kinda doubt BA, but it's still a possibility)

I'm pretty certain Cadsuane is merely trying to help the world with the least amount of collateral damage

It would seem I'm late to a WoT discussion! :O

Lews Therin talks to Rand, but I believe if my memory is correct, there is a third unknown voice also.

*--Spoilers

There is no third VOICE, however, rand keeps seeing a face when he seizes saidin. The face is Moridin, from the time their balefires crossed at Shadar logoth. I don't know if this is because of balefires crossing, or because of streams of the one power and the true power crossing.

*/--Spoilers

Personally, I'm certain AT LEAST Rand will die. This has been stated many times that he "must" dies at tarmon gaidon. However, I'm sure he will live on, somehow, as a major portion of the books involves him trying to follow as best he can the advice given to him from the Aelfinn when he asked how he could live past Tarmon Gaidon. It's not that I don't think all his work could be in vain, just that I would be very surprised if it was, as it was a very large portion of his story as a whole.

Actually, I made a mistake. I forgot–it's 'Camarones al Ajillo,' not 'Camarillos.' My apologies

I am not entirely sure; I only ate them a year or two ago. However, I believe it is (cooked) shrimp prepared in an olive oil-type sauce with garlic, sea salt, and red chili flakes. It is served very hot (temperature-wise) and often (by preference(can be altered by usage of chili flakes)) spicy as well.

I am sorry; this is the best I can do. My memory is none too great, unfortunately.

I've had something similar. Shrimp scampi sometimes has olive oil and garlic, mainly (usually lemon, too. Sometimes vinegars). No chili flakes (usually). It probably tastes a bit similar. It's also not served piping hot, generally, but it still sounds like something i would eat! :D

Hmm, I LOVE me some cold shrimp. Get the sauce and everything's so yummy. I could eat it forever lol.  :) Then again, I'll eat almost any seafood, cooked or not.  :D

^This.

I LOVES me some cold shrimp, and pretty much all seafood

Also: @Shaggy

Never heard of Camarillos al Ajillo, what is it made out of and how is it prepared?

i've never found deveining shrimp to be hard. All you have to do is cut down the back, and, using a sharp utensil (toothpicks work well!), pull out the gastrointestinal tract (the "vein"). It usually comes in one long strand. That being said, I've never done it to the type of shrimp you are referring to.

CCGs / Re: I love Magic:The Gathering but...

Personally, my magic the gathering time was a large portion of highschool. Haven't played it much since.

You could, however, get magic the gathering online, if you really need some way to play
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Digital/MagicOnline.aspx

I've also seen people play on forums. It's kinda like chess by mail/email/whatever, but you'd have to trust the person you're playing with not to cheat.

I wanted to point out something real quick. Eerongal you are aware that your character pick is a closet cross-dresser right? I mean if thats what your into thats cool, as long as your secure with yourself and everything.

Heh, yes, I'm fully aware of what red mage is. Thankfully, that's something me and him DON'T have in common. Not that I have a problem with people who do, I just couldn't imagine myself doing so (Heels don't go well with most of my dresses.) :P

Whaaaaaa???  Listen. I was never a big user of this thing we call the inter-web until I found this site (only a couple of months ago). Since then I have done minimal actual surfing unless I need something, so I often miss out on a lot of the cool stuff out there. So what is this Order of the Stick you speak of. If its any where close to as good as 8-bit then I'm in.

Wow, No order of the stick either?

Well I'm sure someone figured this might happen. We can all thank our friend Eerongal for starting the thread about 8-bit theater. Since that day I have read 336 episodes of 8-bit theater and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. So at this point I am aware that out of 1070 episodes I haven't even gotten half way. I am also aware that I may not have been introduced to all of the characters as of yet. So If I miss any please inform me because I'm not worried about spoilers. This comic is so funny that it wouldn't bother me. So without further ado, I present to you the poll for which 8-bit character are you.

You're welcome! Glad you liked it! :D

It's gotten so big since it started I', just kinda used to the fact that nearly everyone i meet all ready seems to know about it :P

I chose red mage, because i play ALOT of D&D, and he tries to get by on technicalities....which i may or may not try pretty often.

Yeah, I haven't the faintest clue. I wouldn't put it past him to do either.

(Though, isn't the comic loosely based on Final Fantasy 1? And doesn't that game actually end like... about where the comic's at now? I haven't played the game, so I don't actually know...)

Yeah, it's based on FF1. and yes, FF1 ends about where he's at now, that's why it's possible that this IS actually the end

Anyone else here read 8-bit theatre and read today's comic?

If so, who thinks it's really the end, and who thinks it's a joke?
On one hand, it's not out of character for Brian Clevenger to make fake endings (as he's done before), however, on the other hand it wouldn't be totally out of character to actually END it like that. Either way, we'll certainly find out on Saturday or Tuesday (depending on if he runs the joke through Saturday if it is a joke.)
