I'm ecstatic - DARTH_CAPITAL just got banned! ;D
Frankly, I'm shocked. But, even more frankly, I'm always shocked.

I'm happy because Hotwire.com got us a hotel room at the Westin in Detroit for only $63 a night, for our anniversary get-away this coming weekend!  Four stars, baby!

I'm happy that Brenna is becoming more alert and fun every day. Also, I'm happy that she likes her dragon doll.

Fuzzy, that's so nice! I *love* deals! (I went shopping this weekend 'cuz of the sales and got away with $330 of stuff for only $110. yay!)

Little Brenna is so darling! Also, I agree that it's a very good sign that the dragon fascinates her so. ;D

I just got asked if I could do some freelance editing work. Sure it's only an hour or two worth of work, but it's still a little extra money and I told him I charge $20/hr (as if it was what I always charge. But actually this is the first freelance job I've gotten :)). If anything that's low, though, cause one of my co-workers who told this person to ask me told me I should charge $25-$50/hr, but $20 came out, so that's okay. I'm excited about the extra moolah.

It was a grad school application to an MBA program (4 essays). The guy wanted to make sure it was as perfect as possible so he has the most chance of getting in. It was only a little over 2 hours of work, but hey, it's $45 (minus taxes, ugh). It is someone who works at my company. I was recommended by some other editors here since they didn't have time and figured I'd do a good job.

Not too onerous of a job anyhow, eh, Tink? That's good! :)

I'm happy because it's like spring here today! 53 degrees and sunny! Whoo-hoo. No long sleeves for me today! :D

/me points and laughs.

We're having an early summer. We've been wearing shorts for 3 or 4 days. It may still get cold again. It has in the past, but I'm enjoying what we got while we do.

So, last week someone came over to look at the house (see the Grumpy thread for info). They called Friday and said they will probably come over some time this week with an offer.

Wow.

We haven't even put the house on the market yet. This is great.

I'll say! Cool. Usually, selling a house on your own takes months and months! I hope they make a great offer.

Oh, and to SE: a plastic pox on all your action figures, and your precious little spidey, too! May there be no survivors.

To Jeffe: May a swarm of moths gobble up your precious Dr. Who scarf and leave not a thread behind! hmmpfh
