I think it's hilarious. On  whim I checked my PMs. I found about half a dozen ones I hadn't seen since I last checked them something like... 6 months ago or more.

This particular version of YaBB sucks at private messages. And anytime I talk about upgrading, all I hear about is how we'd lose our wonderful class system.

I don't care about private messages and how good or bad the system is. I mean, my freaking email address is public, as are all my IM identities. Why would you send me a PM people?

Because we can't be bothered to click our mouse into the start menu and open messenger or outlook express, or move the mouse to the address bar and type www.hotmail.com.
And I don't think you would want 428 members on your add list for messenger.
Frankly, I'm shocked. But, even more frankly, I'm always shocked.

You realize you don't *have* to do all that? All you have to do is click the email link.

But that means clicking that pesky profile link (aka your name). And we really can't handle that.

No, actually, it's right there, the little envelope on the side under his name.

Raknor, I really do not think your one to preach, given your - ahem- your brother's previous record. I know you- he, likes abuse, so maybe I'll start giving you what you want.

I defy you to find a post when I am so blunt and ridiculous as to call someone stupid directly. I am a good member; just ask...people....

No, really, I'm not that bad! Heck, SE wants me to marry his daughters! (To understand this joke, a SE or search the forum)
And don't get me started on the compliments thread. (I know that's what they're there for, but MsFish thinks I'm a decent member, at least.

Anyway, I sound quite pathetic now, so if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go polish myself.

(Thus concludes my argument that I am a brown kettle)

It's a board full of geeks...

we're all pasty white yah.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

that would take more than just making a couple clicks, though.
