Role-Playing Games / Re: Blog Comments: Big Ol' Bag O' Dice

Well, it didn't. You tried taking a hilarious joke from Arrested Development and use it in the context of the BOBODBLOG. Which, according to my computations does not = good translation. Please try again. =P

In topicality, I suppose I could be suaded to blog for you guys. I hit plenty of other sites with relevant information that people might be interested. I will tell you they are mostly related to comics and video games however. I don't troll around sites about rp books and the such.

Let me know if you want me.

What are you doing? What're you hiding? Is it some secret that could blow the lid off the case? I'm gonna explode with paranoia!

Yes, I guess I loved him too
I can still see him in my mind climbin' that hill
Did he make it to the top, well he probably did and dropped
Struck down by the strength of the will
Ain't nothin' left here partner, just the dust of a plague that has left this whole town afraid
From now on, this'll be where you're from
Let the dead bury the dead. Your time will come
Let hot iron blow as he raised the shade

Well, there ain't no goin' back when your foot of pride come down
Ain't no goin' back

-Bob Dylan "Foot of Pride"

This song started playing on my way home from work tonight and I couldn't help but start singing it as I was riding my bike down Elmwood. People were probably turning their heads wondering what I was up to.

But seriously, this song is all sorts of fun with a beat that really gets you going with it. It's off the "Bootleg Series Vol. 1-3" cd collection.

Hmmm, strangely enough this was the only book of the series that I read. But I did enjoy it, so if you wish you may have my name writ down upon that page. Zachary J. Kaveney will do, since Eric's doing it too. How's about a list with everyone with a middle name beginning with J.? That'd be neat. Unless it's just me and Eric, then it's just super-cool.

Well, I suppose I have to ask you here since you are not answering your messages. However, ericnjeff, or probably more a question  for Jeffe, what program do you use for editing your podcast? I'm sure it's one that's specific for your mac, so are there any other programs out there that you'd recommend?

Everything Else / Re: Sick
« on: July 12, 2007, 04:37:11 PM »
Had you payed attention when I was telling the class, you would have known that I had the key to doing just that.

However, you can download the program here: http://www.brettspielwelt.de/?nation=en

Then, after you install it you will need need to change the 'brettspielwel.prop' file so that most words will be in english. Unless you enjoy german. Anyways, you change the line "nation=de" to "nation=en"

Finally, enjoy, as you try to navigate through the program, alone.

Leaps? What kind of leaps? This is four issues setting up Grant Morrison's run on JLA. I mean, if you don't know anything about any of the heroes you will find yourself wondering about some of the things they go on about.

Hmm, there are also the issues that Morrison mixes in the events of the heroes own line of comics into the JLA books, but I'm pretty sure that didn't happen until a few issues after #1-4's.

And the issues came out in 1997.

I just got back the the theater! This was a pretty good movie. The robots were excellent, and the action/drama/comedy of it all was fantastic. I do recommend everyone go see this if you were ever a fan of the Transformers. You won't be sorely disappointed.

Movies and TV / Re: Live Free or Die Hard

Wow, that is AWESOME Fell. Please send me the script to that play so that I may perform it on the streets for passersby and have a friend record it and then BLAST it across the internet.

But I agree, this movie was four semi-trucks piled on top of each other fun. And I mean, John McClain is Bruce Willis. The guy does such an awesome job in the movie that my friend who hasn't seen any other Die Hard film (yes, I've cursed him out many times for this) enjoyed it a lot. I'm sure he'll be seeing the trilogy soon.

Fell you need to put that list down in your next post so that I may see what games these are! (And so that I may beat you to the punch! [But maybe not?])

And Carcassonne is indeed fun-buttons! It's not similar, but has that same distinct feel to it. In that the game is easy once you've played a few games, and a constant time-wasting engine of fun that everyone should always enjoy. I mean, I've found a web-application that I've used to teach SE to play the game.

With that, I should add that anyone else wanting to learn how to play and be able to play whenever you want, just buzz me on AIM at GemmTWG anytime. I'm usually around, except nights when I work. We will have FUN!

Well, there's no one else around here who reviews comics, and I figured that'd be a nice way to make them pop out a little more for the scavenging reader.

Also, I'd be more than happy to take any requests for reviewing certain comics, as long as I'm given time to hunt it down and rustle up the money to purchase it.
