Making Avatars
« on: August 30, 2005, 02:30:21 PM »
Okay, I'm always on the lookout for new avatars, but rarely can I find one I like that fits the dimensions I need.

This, for example, is just too wide for most forums:

I need to resize it to less than 80x80 pixels but can't do it without losing the animation. Grrrr.

Any help? Tips?

yeah, use this one instead:

(I use Jasc's Animation shop, but I"m sure there's a freeware animation editor for this sort of thing)

Looks like something of theirs, though I'm not much of a radio head fan.

I personally use Flash for animated gifs, Fireworks and Photoshop can also make them apparently.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!
