Contest at Work
« on: April 04, 2005, 05:15:45 PM »
Hey, my work wants ideas for a contest they can hold for their employees. It is a software company with hundreds of employees (I'm not sure how many). Do you guys have any ideas?

How about a contest to decide the best ideas for a contest?

I think a contest for who can donate the most money to me would be a great idea.

And thank you for that one. I'm sure my company would love it. I will go right to the CEO's office, push right past the secretary (assuming he has one) and tell him I have the solution to all his woes. He will then make me his chief assistant making $200,000 a year and I will be treated like royalty.

Well now that we're done with the fantasy, thank you for the input, but I was actually hoping for some real ideas. Oh, well. I am sure they'll think of something. Just as long as I might win some prizes--hehehe.

You know what I got the last time my boss gave me a prize? A 1-GB flashdrive. Not too shabby, I must say!

I don't appreciate the sarcasm. I was perfectly serious. Everyone should be donating to me anyway. So why not make it fun at the same time?

(Ok, before I get beaten upon, yes, this post is laden with sarcasm)

A contest to see who can hack the most other workstations in the company?

How about a contest where the objective is to come up with as many outside businesses who use your companies softwares?
