What does your desktop look like?

Random curiosity time. What does your computers desktop look like? Mine looks thus.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

ok, well, there's this one from back when I was still in Provo doing tech writing.

Shortly after that I went to work for a guy at BYU, and here's what his computer looked like when I was using it and he was out of office. Yeah. I worked hard.

Then there's this one from later where you can actually see what background I'm using.

My computer at home AND at the office don't have wallpapers, though i guess maybe you're interested in icons, I can take a shot when I get home.

it's not a desktop, but for kicks, this is what I do instead of, y'know, actually WRITING with the program.

Wow, mine is not nearly so interesting. How do you get a screen shot?

use the PrtSc button at the top of your keyboard.  Then open up MSpaint (or any graphics program) and paste.  Then save it as a JPEG.

I only get a tiny tiny picture when I do that--72 dpi, couple of inches square. Impossible to see anything but the background picture, not the icons.

Onion of Death and Spriggin have the same desktop.  I'd show you mine but I'm not allowed to have one.  Go stare at a wall and you'll get the basic idea.

I don't know how to post pictures on message boards. I've tried before, and I don't want to go through the trouble of making my own website just to upload pictures.

you have NO web space anywhere?

I can think of a dozen practical uses for a couple megs of free space on a web server somewhere though, so while something like this topic doesn't necessarily persuade anyone to do something, I'd have it for other reasons.

<shrug> Ok.

Incidentally, this msg board doesn't store the picture. It just lets you link.

Is there anywhere where I could easily obtain some web space? I'm kinda clueless when it comes to the Internet. While I spend a lot of time on it, web page design and the like has always confused me.
