Per miyabi's suggestion, here is a thread for those who talk using old l337 $p34|{ [leet speak]. This is NOT a thread ONLY for l337 speakers, but is for learning how to speak/use/type in l337. Please show some r3$p3(7 [respect] and do not criticize for mistakes…this is a new thing for many of us (including me).
I'll start:
|-|0\/\/'$ 7|-|3 \/\/347|-|3r 47 ¥0µr |-|0µ$3$?
[And how do you do r's in l337??]

(and R = 2, usually. Imagine it as an R with no | on the back.)

(Bad. As i mentioned in the other thread, |3 can be B, i just figured I'd throw that in there to see if you caught it :P )

OK, if you're going to learn Shag, you're going to learn right. These are acceptable letters. (Someone can add some if they want.) Note, some resemble caps, others lower case.
NOTE on the "f". It is generally used as ph instead of f because it's easier to 13375|*4|<
J is just . . . j. (as far as I've ever seen)
A - 4, /\ | B - |3, |>, 8, 6 | C - (, [, < | D - |) | E - 3 |
F - |=, |*|-| | G - 9, (- | H - |-| | I - 1, | | J - j |
K - |<, |{ | L - |, 1, |_ | M - /\/\ | N - /\/ | O - 0 |
P - |* | Q - 0, | R - 2 | S - 5 | T - 7 |
U - |_| | V - \/ | W - \/\/ | X - >< | Y - '/ |
Z - 7_ | | | | |
There are also some words that change when in 13375|*34|<:
You - j00
I - 3'/3
Yo - j0
Hacker - |-|4><02
of - |_|\/
now -- /\/4|_|
|_||-|/\/\, 7|-|47'5 4|_|_ 3'/3 (4/\/ 7|-|1/\/|< |_|\/ |*|-|02 /\/4|_|.

You know, I think we have a forum rule against Leet. But, seeing as this is in its own isolated thread, and has educational value, we'll let it slide for now.
-
Yeah, I was hoping this would pull it out of the other thread it was being used in. ha ha.
-
Personally I find leet annoying in the extreme. And I'm glad it isn't common on this forum. But yeah in here it's kind of cute.

Yeah, I agree with this. That's why I think it's sad I'm fluent in both 7|-|15 \/32510/\/, and 7h1s v3rs10n

What does the bold represent?

I improvised. It's not real leet speak but I used it for a quote.
-
Interesting. I wonder if punctuation is a real part of 1337…
