so basically I got a new job where I get paid a flat rate of 50 dollars a week, now seeing as It's 100% income, I dont need to buy gas or food or anything, and I'm up to 172 dollars, what do you all think I should buy?

$50 a week?  How many hours are you working?

Invest 20% of your income in...well, something that will get interest, even if it's only a little. Do that with every paycheck you get & just keep doing it. Savings are important. That still leaves you with a little over $135, anyway.

Aside from that, I could make a recommendation, but what sorts of things are you most interested in? A PC game? A console game? CCG stuff or tabletop wargame materials? A book or DVD?
