So i have had this idea for a while now, and have asked a few people on MSN/AIM about it. Does the idea of a LOTR game run over a voice comm program (Teamspeak probably, although it has a 1 second lag thats annoying) sound good to you guys?
Voice comm, btw, is when you get out a headset and talk using a microphone. It gets sent to the other people who hear it and respond in the same way. Basically webcams without picture and with sound.

it'd be cool
It's just a question of finding time to game
I can't think I'd be able to reasonably play more than one session every other week
-
I'd probably love to, except Teamspeak doesn't work for me.
-
Heh. Maybe ventrillo will work?

ventrillo?

my laptop's sound card dosen't work, so I'm out.

So i had this idea for a one shot where a bunch of Dunedain get sent by Elessar to find the holy mountain of Numeror, which is still above the waves according to legend. Allows the use of the mariner class for once.
Anyone fancy it?

I would be if I knew what any of those things were...I'm a bad geek, not knowing my LOTR.

netmeeting might be cooler, especially since lots of people can basically network, plus if you have a webcam other people can see you.
-
Yeah, and you can then give people the bird in real time Entropy, instead of giving it to your monitor each time you become enraged.

Err my bad, netmeeting is only 1:1
