Title: I'm migrating back to Utah!
Post by: The Jade Knight on December 30, 2005, 05:55:25 AM
So!

What do I need to bring up to appease you guys?  I'm driving up to Utah on the 1st, and am planning on leaving most of my gaming stuff here.  I could bring up my Magic decks, but they break a lot of size/edition rules and aren't particularly competetive these days anymore, anyways.

Any other requests?  I'm going to be staying in some apartments in Provo, and I'd be glad to attend TWG "big events".  I'm trying to keep my social life down a notch in general, though, so I can focus on studying.

Well, I'm not in utah so I can't speak official like. but when I was out there, we played 100/3. My personal deck was close to 200 cards. I didn't win much, but I made those games drag on with all my life gain and big monsters and enchantments.

Bring what you like I guess .

People do tend to get together every once and a while for Magic, though it's not consistent.

What's 100/3?

I might bring up my magic.  I can also bring up SW or LotR (Fellowship) if anyone plays them.  I think that's mostly it.

It means a minimum of one hundred cards and three colors per deck.  It makes the games more interesting and less tournament-style short.

People don't play 100/3 much anymore, usually tourney decks now.

My decks are absolutely gigantic.

One is 5 colour, one is 3, and one is two.
