Emerson finally credited my CC for the $3,053 tuition payment I made before my loans came in. Yay!! My loans came in two weeks ago and the refund was supposed to go thru then. Alas, they screwed up. Thank goodness I didn't add my second class until after my loans came thru. Otherwise, I would've had a n even bigger CC bill. Whew, I'm glad that's taken care of.  :D

My mother-in-law sent us money to go out to dinner for Valentine's Day as well. Yea! She also sent fun socks with hearts on them. How sweet.

haha.

While we're discussing the infamous holiday approaching . . . my roomie and her boyfriend have an unusual Valentine's Day date planned. She's LDS, he's Zen Buddist, and they're going to his weekly meditation night. She started attending with him a month ago. Kinda cool. He's taking discussions and stuff.

I am SOOOO Happy because I just finished editing a 650-page manual for work. It was driving me nuts. I'm so glad it's done!

See, I felt like that when I first finished the help files here.
Then they just kept giving me more stuff. I will *never* be done.

My 3 year old son was able to write his name, by himself, today. He'll be a writer for sure.

Oh yeah? Well, when my son was two . . . Nevermind.

I'm happy because I have control of the thermostat. My landlords moved across country on Monday and left me to manage the house. So if you know anyone who is looking for a place to live, the upstairs is a two-storey hardwood-floor three-bedroom two-bathroom house. And there's a nice yard to go with it.

my 3-year-old nephew can go to the computer, start the web browser, and type in "Wiggles"...

MY daughters are better than yours.

They've beaten their first video games in less than a week of owning it.

*sniff* they grow up so fast...

Well, my 2-year old ferret can't read or write, and has too much ADHD to play video games. But she has slain my blue squishy pillow 3 times this week.

My brother is getting married this summer! It's in Washington D.C., which means a trip to the east. Fun!
