Oooh!  I want, I want!  I might do a regular review, rather than a geek girl, depending on what I have to say about it and whether I feel like there's enough geek-girl style material, but I soooo would love to review it.

Oh, and Nessa, I haven't forgotten about the reviews I said I'd submit.  It's on my to-do list.

No one sends Pemberly to the moon!  I would miss her too much.

I think Alcatraz would make a way fun movie.  Even though it probably won't happen, it's still fun to think about!  Congrats!

I can't remember what the status of needing reviews and things is.  I know we've been very heavy on book reviews lately, but I've been writing what amount to book reviews for my adolescent lit class, and several of the books are speculative, so I could easily tweak them and submit them if you're looking for book reviews.  Do we want them?

I like the first person much better (as usual).  I have a few issues with it, but they're little things--and honestly, when was the last time I *didn't* have issues with *any* piece of writing?

Overall, I like it.

I hate the third person.  Your first person is SO much better.  You're starting half your sentences with "he", and the excerpt just doesn't have a good voice, like your writing usually does.

I am, however, very biased on the subject.

Yeah, I've got it here with your manga.  Course, I would have to actually see you in order to give them to you.

So, are you recommending or not recommending?  Because I wanted to see it based on the trailers, but I haven't heard if anyone liked it or not.

Wow, the critics hated it.

Check that out.  Even the ones who are saying it's good are quoted saying things like "it's really not that bad" and it's "so bad it's good."  Yikes.  The trailer looked way cool!  I'm sad now.

Did you read the post above?  That's what he just said.

Two things, mostly off topic.

1)  In the next book, Alcatraz goes against the Knights of Crystallia?!?  I want to read *that* book.  I think you should write it right now.  Especially since that would further distract you from your revision.

2) I am glad Dragonsteel will not be on the front of the book, because Tage tells me there aren't really any dragons.  If I picked up a book called Dragonsteel and then realized there weren't really any dragons (in the classical sense) I would feel extremely cheated and never read it just because of my anger.

I remember a woman coming to speak to one of my creative writing classes who was published in Baby Bug.  She published a rhyme that went like this:

One Bananna, Two Bananna
In a bunch
Three Bananna, Four Bananna
Let's have lunch.

At first it's like, you got paid for that?  But I think Stacy and Chimera are right; the smaller the word count, the harder to write a good story, especially if you have to have all the steps to the story arc, which this rhyme clearly doesn't.

For purposes of my sanity I'm going to assume that an early spring means that it is now currently spring.  I like spring.  I'm glad spring is here.

I probably won't come on a Thursday, but probably would come on a Saturday, especially if that meant starting earlier.  Thursdays are my tired nights, and since I've been sick I mostly crash then.  But don't plan things around me.

Um, there's nothing wrong with LOANING media.  It's the reproducing that breaks copyright.  I can loan you a cd.  But you can't legally copy it, and neither can I.  I can loan you Elantris, but I can't photocopy the whole thing and give it to you.
