PVP bashes Furries

(1/3) > >>

Spriggan:
it's kida Ironic that the week that EUOL does a furry webcomic review Scott Kurtz is makeing fun of them.
http://www.pvponline.com/archive.php3?archive=20020930
also in the PVP forum one topic got 900 posts in one day about the comic.

Tage:
I am very amused at Scott's newest poke at furry lovers. I'm not one who really understands the point of furries either.

Spriggan:
this is a link in the PVP forum I must say that it was one of the scarriest things I've ever seen.

But it looks like a lot of people got offened with the cartoon and have been calling Scott a raciest and Biggot on the forum.  Sad and Scarry at the same time.  But My new hero is Aaron Williams who does the Nodwick comic I've never seen someone make as much sence while mocking morons.  He puts all of you to shame  :P

Slant:
The reason that furries get ssuch a bad rap is mostly due to the huge amount of furry porn that you can find in any comic book store you walk into.  Personallyy that sort of stuff has never made any sense whatsoever to me (although I kinda liked Omaha at one point, but that one actually had a PLOT to it), and don't even get me started on the people who find erotic stimulation by dressing up like furry animals.

I WILL say that there is a lot of great furry (or, to use the original term, anthropomorphic) stuff out there done with a lot of class and style.  You need look no further than Usagi Yojimbo, a very cool book about a samurai in ancient Japan, who just happens to be a rabbit.

Mr_Pleasington:
I'm a HUGE PVP fan and Scott's jabs at Furries certainly made me chuckle.

I just couldn't believe the backlash he got from that.  That's two comics, KODT and PVP, I've seen where someone pokes a little fun at Furries and suddenly has the whole Furry sub-community screaming about biggotry.  Sense of humor, people?

I can't say I understand the Furry thing either, but to each his own.
