So friday night this movie was on AMC. And I found it to be a pretty good movie. Altough I can tell this wasn't the first of these movies to have Ash in them. I guess those are the "Evil Dead" movies, correct? I was given a small amount of background on the going-ons of Ash, why he lost his hand, where he works, etc.
I thought this at first was going to be one of those scary zombie movies. To which I say I dislike them all. Resident Evil, House of the Dead, those sorts. But this movie was very good.

Yeah, the first Evil Dead tried to be a real movie (albeit B-quality). The second one re-wrote the first one during the first 5 minutes, and then proceded on to the good stuff. Unless you REALLY want to see a B-grade horror movie, or you REALLY love Sam Raimi and/or Bruce Campbell, just watch ED2.

"three books, no one said there were going to be three books!!"

Heh, I liked the part shortly there after. Where he was trying to remember the word and just sort of coughed instead.
-
And then there is the sequal to army of darkness "Hail to the King baby!" which was a video game that bruce Campbell helped make. And it;s the sequal because, well Bruce said so.
-
So where can one find this "Sequel?"
-
it came out on the dreamcast and the PSone then later on the ps2

from what I understand, there are several AoD related video games that use at least Bruce's voice.
-
there are 2, but hail to the king is the only one that is considered a sequal to the movies.

according to IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0317447/) both are also known as a sequel.
Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick (2003) (VG) (voice) .... Ash
... aka Evil Dead V (2002) (VG) (USA: informal alternative title)
