This is for an MFA in writing for children application, so I'm just wondering what chapter or two appears to be the strongest. I'm not going to revise heavily, just go over them so that they look and sound good. Perhaps I should dig up an old short story, but this is my most recent work, so I figured it'd be the best representation of where I'm at now. Or I could grab a couple pages of my nonfiction writing for Electrical Apparatus, but I have a feeling it wouldn't be nearly as interesting.
I'll be there tonight. I'll email everybody the whole file, if you wanted to glance over it and remind yourself what happened, in case you don't have the files still. I don't need close reading or even not-close reading, just a general idea of where you think it's strongest, so I can concentrate on making it a little bit stronger for my sample. It just has to be under 20 pages, so that's why I'm thinking one or two chapters--more likely just one.
