Thanks for posting that link. The people at Backbone Entertainment have been great to work with. And Kevin will be at E3 in May.

A full-blooded Rifts RPG is about the only thing in the world that would make me want an N-Gage, so of course that's what they do. Maybe I can get a free one for review...ha ha! I crack myself up.

actually, as down as I've been on this, I would buy an N-Gage for a portable final fantasy. Suddenly it would be ok if my wife were going to wait ten minutes and then load half the world in the van before coming to pick me up.

You can actualy get a N-Gauge QD for free from many cellphone providers if you sign a 2-3 year contract for the N-Gauge plan.

Why isn't it being released for the DS or PSP? You know, things people actually *play*.

So how often do RPG Publishers tend to randomly post here?

Not very often. We get more attention from Palladium than anybody else, though we get a lot of webcomic authors/illustrators and I had a few emails from Games Workshop back in the day.

Cool enough
Anyway
I missi the old Rifts games,  though my problem with Rifts was that everyone seemed Godlike after 1 or to campaigns.
The GM had to bring in some massive Beasts to challenge the players.
Absurdly massive

I ended up trying to kill off mt Bountie Hunter once, so I could roll a more average person, and I COULDNT KILL HIM
I keept at these heroic risky deeds.... and kept rolling saves!  In the end, he killed the 100m tall MDMonster, Destroied the parties APC, Burned down the Town, and had a brusied knee

ANyway
I was disapointed that it was N-GAGE, a platform I have NEVER been impressed by, even after the Taco with a screw-in cartridge design.
I would LOVE to see a Rifts on PC,  something with some real meat, Can you imagine the development effort of a Baldursgate or Fallout applied to Rifts!?
Alles!!!

That's the mantra we Rifts fans use to lull ourselves to sleep at night: the N-Gage version is essentially a test run, and if it does well they'll move into the video game market a little more directly next time. Oh sweet rapture.

There's a chance this could be PC bound as well since Nokia has one or two games comming out for both N-gauge and the PC (and they're muliplayers can conncet) in the future.

Ooohh not ideal, An N-Gage game could fit in a Flash wrapper on the PC.
We have these Tiny gods with amazing computational and graphical powers,  I would like to be IMMERSED in Rifts through the conduit of my PC, Not "catch a glimps through blocky pixels" Like an N_gage to PC convert would be.
Morrowind, Neverwinter, Fallout, etc.... Thats the treatment I want for Rifts
Alles!!!
