Yes. But green is saved for something else.

Quote
Every correct answer in round 1 was worth 1 point.  Every correct answer in round 2 will be worth 3.  The final answer will be worth 9.  Have at it.

Hmm.  That hardly seems fair, as grouping the answers into the correct threes is the most difficult part of solving these puzzles, and for the final answer that part is a given.

Correct guesses by EJS (who apparently needs to learn to modify his posts instead of making 10 in a row):

::lays the smack down on Eric::

FORUM FAQ, II.1:

SIXTH ITEM:  Don't post to a thread twice in a row.
If you have something to add, just go back and edit your old post.  Don't hold conversations with yourself--it annoys people.

And for the record, I know it's not fair at all, but it makes things more interesting.

It just seems to me that in cases where time priority of guesses makes a difference, individual posts for guesses make sense.

How does that take less time than editing a post?

Addendum:  Why can't you afterwards consolidate them and delete the unnecessary posts, if it's that big of an issue?

I'm not saying that it takes less time -- what I'm saying is that an unedited post unambiguously timestamps when a guess was made.

You know, that's true... except when you're up at like 4am and there's no one to compete with you anyway.  :P

And close, but incorrect.
