I'm finally watching this. Wow. Beautiful. It's amazing cinematography. I love love love the use of color.

I know we discussed this sometime in years past, but I can't find it. Anyone feel like digging it up for me?  :D

we talked about the political/historical implications. I saw it for the first time when my sister-in-law just gave it to me for Christmas. I hadn't seen it before, but I was impressed.

This is a movie I told myself I would not miss in the theater.  Then missed it in the theater.  I know my home setup isn't going to do it justice.

Nevertheless still a sweet movie. Although I had to watch it in the englished dubbed version. The chineese with subtitles was distracting me from hte rest of the film.
