Title: Doors and Windows
Post by: Mr_Pleasington on March 20, 2003, 04:03:00 AM
I don't know if you guys have checked this one out yet, but it's one of the few webcomics that truly entertain me.  Maybe I just have a hankerin' for all things dark and creepy.

I started reading this before I met the author, but since he was a friend of a friend I was introduced and I'm now playing in his Demon: The Fallen chronicle.

Good Stuff!

Wow, that's really good. Definitely R-rated, but good.

Hehe, i read it all. Nice comic. It's a very... interesting style of webcomic. And the man knows how to draw a good looking woman. I like that.

Because of your comment about demon, I spent most of the time wondering if it was based on the WoD. I dont think it is though - he doesnt mention any source, and i dont see a vampire anywhere.

No, I don't think it's based on any published setting.  In his "author's ramblings" page it says he's had the basics for this for some time.

Along similar lines, I'd like to point out that Chopping Block is back from a three-month hiatus (or even longer, I'm not sure). I love Chopping Block.

And it looks like he may be hitting more than missing with the new comics, which was not the case before the hiatus.

Well, after weeks of keeping us waiting, Shawn finally finished the story.  I like it.

I'll have to ask how long before he starts his next story.

Boy, it's about time he tied that up. Cool ending, and cool epilogue especially. I hope he does more--he's a good artist and a great storyteller.

Believe me, we've been on him for weeks about finishing it up, but he got a new job thats kept him busy so we cut him some slack.

As for his storytelling abilities, I just wish I could relate to you just how cool the Demon and Vampire:DA games he runs are.  Some of the most fun I've had playing for some time.  Trying to include all the good stuff would take an hour to type up though :)

He's looking to freelance some art for White Wolf, in fact.

I'm anxiously anticipating Children's Choir.
