WoW's expansion is announced: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/burningcrusade/

No news about hero classes, but there's a lot of cool stuff including my favorites, the Blood Elves.

So your favourites are the angsty whiners who can't deal with hardship like proper men and instead run crying to the nearest demon?

Wow.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

How is summoning demons not a proper way to deal with hardship? I do it all the time.

Warlocks control the demons they summon. Illidan has barely half a brain, is obviously demon happy (ie, they control him) and the blood elves were fawning all over him.

:P

Heh, so finally the Dark Portal will be open-able.  Gee why am I not surprised to hear Blizz has been lying for the past 16 month that it was open-able from launch (something they were still asserting when I quit in May).

Anyway I'm sad that Goblins aren't a PC yet, nor is undermountain an area, that would have gotten be excited about the game.  Though I am glad to see them realizing that copying Diablo 2 isn't a bad thing but I guess once set items went in the game that was the case (in beta they always said they wouldn't add runes, sockets, sets, ect since they were D2 stuff and not warcraft stuff).  Sockets look to be interesting and I can only assume Jewelcraft has to do with it.

Though to make a final decision I guess I should wait to see what the Alliance's new race is and what the new areas are.  But as a preview it''s not all that hot.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!
