I think combining d20 future with D&D would be fun, but the weapons from d20 future would be grossly overpowered.

Well, unless a dragon has some defense against heatseeking missiles fired from 30 miles away I'd say the F-16 wins.

Thats what i said, but my co-worker, jason, thinks that the dragon would fry the jet crispy. but i think heat-seekers would work against any damage reduction.

what defensive spells could stop a rocket? And dont forget the jet is faster, and has longer range he can hit him a mile away.

30 miles wasn't an exaggeration, just so you know.

This is an unsolvable dilemma until you define the dragon's capabilities.

We're familiar with F-16s so we have a pretty good idea of what they can do.  But until you figure out the abilities and limitations of the dragons you're dealing with to at least the same degree as you are familiar with the F-16's abilities and limitations you won't be able to come to a conclusion.

I mean, if we're talking about Smaug here I'm betting on the F-16.  But if we're dealing with Ouroboros I'm not so sure.

I have nothing to add to this conversation. I just wanted to point out how awesome the above quote is.
