The next three months will see the release of Frozen Throne as well as two Heroclix expansions. I'm already very poor, but I imagine I'll soon be far poorer.

married life

Pendragon, a couple supplements, the new Nightcrawler action figure (possibly Wolverine), building up my collection of TMNT (current new series), Cerebus, and Usagi collections. Oh, and anything else I can think of and impulsively see.

1) National Boards: A $600 exam in August :(
2) Battletech minis!
3)Random guitar equipment

Pretty much have everything I want.

Life. In general, in abstract. Grad school. Another car (I'm carless since that accident :'( ). But what's fun--and I'll have to concede to Mad Dr. Jeffe (I think that's who said it before) that SUVs can be pretty fun. I'm driving a Jeep Liberty for the weekend--this is DANG cool. I reserved a regular car and, whoops, darn, they only had this Jeep on the lot. :D So I get the weekend special for the standard car rate (already cheaper) and get to drive this cute little SUV-thing. It handles like a car, has probably as much space in the back as the trunk of a compact car, and holds 4 or 5 people, so it's like a car but cooler. And it only has 400 miles on it. Whoo-hoo! 8)
Spoils me for anything else, I tell ya.

Oh, I've also decided I want a Bonsai Tree. Cuz I'm cool like that.
-
Ok, Mr. Miyagi.
-
You're just jealous cuz I thought of it first.
-
One of my friends grandparents grow them. Apparently gives them away for free to his family as well, not bad considering the hundred pound plus price tags they normally have.
-
Sweet. I'd ask you to hook me up, but beside the problem that it's not your family, but your friends, I suppose it wouldn't be that much more expensive to get one here than to have one shipped
-
Yeah. I'm not actually sure how one would go about packaging a Bonsai. And it would probably starve with no light or water for multiple days. :/
If however, i hear of a glass toped airplane going your way, i'll be sure to let you know ;)
-
I've been looking at some web sites, and apparently you can safely keep them in a package for 12 days or so. I even found a starter kit for only 20 bones. But obviously half the point (or most of the point) of owning a bonsai is to actually work the tree and shape it. So I want to learn more about how to do it and what sort of shape I want before I spend $20 or more just to kill a small plant and continuously change my mind.
-
Do you have the patience for this, Mr. Ehlers?
-
patience for what?
Oh! look at that shiny object!
Just so you know, turns out a friend of the family is REALLY into Bonsai. It's hard to keep track with him, as he has so MANY weird hobbies like this. He's sort of like Wilson. Except that i've seen his face. And he doesn't live next door. And he doesn't spout the useless mystic trivia. Ok, he's not very much like Wilson, but he DOES know bonsai. so he and I will be having a conversation.

Some new CD's, a satellite XM radio for my wife.
-
I'm saving up for my wedding and honeymoon, but after that I would like to get a PS2. I don't think that's very likely though . . . like all newlyweds, we are going to be very poor.
-
mmm poor
-
That's okay, a newlywed's primary source of entertainment is free.
-
Heh, that's funny but makes me sad...
-
"Get thee a wife!"
Oh, I also want a digital camera, a new scanner, and a nice sound card.
-
lol Thanks Fell, but I could have used 16 more days before the pointed reminder ;)
Oh, and I need a new computer. Mine runs Win95 and has 2GB--harddrive space, not memory. shiver I mean it runs Starcraft, which is good, and most of the reason I don't just throw it out the window, but . . .
btw, anybody have a Win98 SE license I could have?
-
I have a stack of them, but I don't give them out since I gave away my modem (to you) and found myself buying one even though I didn't think I'd ever need to.
The lesson is that you never know when you'll need even your crappy computer stuff. So hoard like Ebeneezer Squirell
-
New computer for me, as well. Well technically an upgrade... new case, new CPU, new motherboad, new RAM, new video card, new mouse & keyboard, new modem. So a complete overhaul. I figure I can pull it all off at just under $500.
But first I gotta pay back my parents for the loan they gave me when my car broke down. Five hundred washingtons for that too. :(
-
For me, saving for new computer would be nice. It's just competing with the desire for a new apartment.
-
Okay Saint, how much would you sell on for?
-
Actually, I lied about the stack.
Not really, I *DO* have a stack of legitimate Windows CDs/liscences, but they're all different versions. And, as I said, never know when you'll need them. My old WinME liscence came in handy during my last spate of troubles. So I won't sell them. Though I'm sure you can find Win98 cheap somewhere. Try ebay or half.com.
-
That's true. I also have a friend whose brother works for MS and at one time could get Win98 SE for $15. I'll have to ask her if she can get one for me. Thanks.
